You're good at what you do, but the business around it feels messy, incomplete, or harder than it should.
Maybe your website doesn't reflect the quality of your work. Maybe your systems are scattered. Maybe you've got a dozen ideas and no clear path forward.
I help small business owners figure out what needs attention first and actually get it done.
How I Can Help
Get online, fully
You're starting from scratch: no site, no Google presence, no way for people to find or contact you. I build the foundation you need so customers can find you, understand what you do, and get in touch. Most people don't know where to begin. That's exactly where I come in.
Fix what isn't working
You have a site but it's not doing anything for you, or it's built on something outdated, bloated, or held together by a developer you can't reach. I look at what's there, figure out what actually needs to change, and rebuild it so it works and you can manage it.
Sort out the back end
Your business works, but too much of it depends on you remembering everything. Things get missed, follow-ups fall through the cracks, and every task takes longer than it should. I look at how things actually run behind the scenes, figure out where things are getting stuck, and set up something simple so your business runs more smoothly with less stress and less manual work.
Most people aren't sure where to start. That's okay. You tell me what's going on and we figure it out together.
No long-term commitment. Start with a free call. If it's a good fit, we go from there.
We start with what matters most. I won't talk you into more than you need.
In practice
Here's what working together actually looks like.
Blockhouse Storage had built a solid business almost entirely through word of mouth and a Facebook page. But if you searched for them online, you'd barely find them.
Blockhouse Storage had built a solid business almost entirely through word of mouth and a Facebook page. But if you searched for them online, you'd barely find them. No website, and an email address that didn't match their business name.
Before I built anything, we sat down and figured out what actually made them different. Who their customers were, why someone would choose them over the competition, and what people needed to know before making a call. That became the foundation for everything.
Then I built it all out: a custom website written in their words, an inquiry form so customers could reach them easily, a FAQ, a privacy policy, a professional email address, and a Google Business Profile so they'd show up when people searched. I also set up analytics so they could see what was working.
When it was done, we went through everything together so they knew exactly how to run it themselves.
In a few weeks, they went from relying on word of mouth and a Facebook page to having a professional online presence they could confidently grow from.
Most people don't come to me because they need a website.
They come to me because they know their business could be working better, and they're not sure what to do about it. Sometimes they can articulate exactly what's wrong. Often they can't. Either way, that's where I start.
I spent the last decade working in sales and business development at Canadian software companies, including TouchBistro and Clio. I managed teams, built processes, did competitive research, and worked alongside marketing, product, customer success, and leadership teams. At scrappy, fast-moving companies you wear a lot of hats, and I wore most of them.
What I got good at was figuring out what was actually going on. Years of helping businesses solve problems taught me that the first problem someone describes is rarely the whole story. I learned how to ask the right questions, connect the dots, and get to the root of what's really getting in the way.
Now I use those same skills to help small business owners figure out what's worth focusing on and what isn't.
Sometimes that means building a website. Sometimes it means improving systems, refining messaging, researching competitors, or untangling a problem that's been sitting on the back burner for too long.
I don't believe every problem needs a complicated solution. Most of the time, people need clarity, a plan, and someone willing to help get it done.
What people say
Not just a website builder, a real customer service pro. It is so rare to get work like this done where all the boxes are checked: price, speed, quality, customer service. It was truly a refreshing business experience.

She comes in and just gets it done. Marika has given me so much time and energy back, and peace of mind. Before her, I had a random pile of tasks that just kept growing and no time to deal with any of them. She figures out what needs to happen and just gets it done.
